At the time of the start of construction, Oread Laboratories was one of the fastest growing multi-purpose pharmaceutical research and development companies in the region. This presented ongoing challenges and opportunities for our design team.
Developing a master plan with the initial structure, we assisted in providing all architectural and engineering services to the rapidly expanding company including programming, space planning, interior design, laboratory equipment coordination, site engineering and landscape design.
The campus, recently purchased by the University of Kansas, includes three self-contained buildings supporting research and development laboratories, animal research facilities, research offices, seminar/training areas, administrative offices and related support facilities.
