Addition and Remodeling - Phase II

Johnson County retained Treanor Architects to provide comprehensive services for the construction of an addition to the New Century Adult Detention Center (Phase II) and associated remodeling of the existing facility.

The $52 million project includes 554 new beds, administrative segregation, disciplinary segregation, maximum custody, special needs, and medium/minimum custody beds, as well as a remodel of the existing facility to accommodate projected inmates and staff. The new building is connected directly to the existing facility with a secure link.
