Treanor was hired to provide programming and architectural design for the expansion and renovation of an existing facility. The project included the addition of a day school area and an intake and assessment center, as well as an expansion of administrative offices.
The day school addition included two classrooms, a dayroom area, restroom facilities, and one teacher preparation area. This addition allows the facility to accommodate 60 students. The intake and assessment center addition included one dayroom space large enough to accommodate four juveniles, restroom facilities and space large enough to hold meetings with parents and youths. The intake and assessment center has a separate outside entrance, and sight and sound separation from other youth services operations. The office addition included four offices and a conference room.
