Education Center

Fast growth in southern Johnson County, Kansas, sparked the need for a new Catholic parish. The first phase facilities include a 8,000 sq ft education center with classrooms for K-8 as well as a temporary worship center that seats 850 parishioners, with room for another 500 in the adjoining cafeteria area.

The facilities contain the latest technology and are accented by day lighting, but the prominent design elements support strong tradition, which is a major programming concept for this parish. Outdoor spaces are also an important element of this comprehensive, new spiritual community.
