New Church and School

After completing a very careful Master Plan, which included a full vision for the future potential of the entire site, design for the first phase new worship center was developed. Since the site is on a prominent corner of Johnson Drive and Monticello Road in Shawnee, Kansas, there was an innate desire to have a structure which properly nourished the Parish Community and was also an icon of hospitality to the public at large.

The 48,000 sq ft church seats up to 1,200 and was designed to compliment the existing school structure, creating a wonderful pedestrian space in between. The lower level provides space for Parish offices and Parish Hall. While the worship center was under construction, an expansion to the school was designed. This expansion allows the program to add grades 7 and 8 to its previous K-6 offering.
