A Premier Competition Facility for Swimming designed by Treanor Architects
Treanor Architects designed the recently completed $3.1M addition to the Capitol Federal Natatorium at the Topeka Sports Park. Additions include a four-lane warm-up pool, interconnected changing rooms and bathrooms, a wellness center/crash area, new indoor walkways and entry ways, a competition scoring room, and a new ultraviolet filtration system for the existing large pool and the smaller warm-up pool.
The original natatorium, also designed by the Treanor team, was completed in 2004 and is considered one of the premier competition swimming facilities in the midwest.
